Hi everyone,
we are the 2K2K1 Yuppies of the La Union Futbol Assoc Inc and we were reunited last May 4. We played football way back 1996 as the our school, DMMMSU-ELS Agoo, started the program among the 5th and 6th graders. Our debut game during that year's La Union Provincial Meet at the La Union National High School became successful as we became the champion and represented the province for the first time for the regional meet.
Unfortunately, most of the players are already about to graduate yet they continued until High School. Despite enrolled from different institutions, the former team members still filled the roster in order to join the High School regional meet from 1999-2001 and remained the La Union Champions from that time.
Years later, only few players continued playing during their college days but each one feels that football is within their hearts. Even though it is not as common as basketball or billiards, they still think it is one of the most exciting game in the world.
So here we are, with the added body weights and higher spirits, back in the pitch to play together again. As young professionals from the different fields from engineering, entrepreneurship, allied medical fields, business outsourcing, military service and many more, not only in the country but all over the world. We are playing again as one.
